Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubits
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $10M+ in DARPA/NIST quantum research grants
- Publish 3+ Nature/Science papers annually on quantum supremacy
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and Q# programming
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proven track record securing federal research grants
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti)
