Responsibilities
- Lead research teams in developing error-corrected quantum algorithms for 2026 commercial applications
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Secure $10M+ in government and industry research grants
- Publish 3+ groundbreaking papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain systems
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum-hardware integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from top-tier institution
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development with demonstrated impact
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in high-impact quantum computing journals
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of translating theoretical research into commercial applications
