Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation problems critical to 2026 technological landscape
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Mentor PhD researchers and postdoctoral fellows in quantum information science
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from government and private institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years of research experience
- Published record in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of leading quantum research projects with measurable impact
