Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical quantum models into functional hardware interfaces
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Document quantum architectures and publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Track record of translating complex quantum concepts into scalable solutions
