As a key architect of our 2026 roadmap, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, quantum physicists, and AI ethicists to develop scalable solutions for climate modeling, drug discovery, and autonomous systems. This role offers unparalleled resources, including access to our 128-qubit quantum processors and $50M R&D budget.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead quantum-AI hybrid system architectures for 2026 Initiative deliverables
- Manage a cross-disciplinary team of 15+ researchers (quantum physicists, ML engineers, domain experts)
- Secure $10M+ in external funding through NSF/EU Horizon proposals
- Develop patentable algorithms for quantum-enhanced neural networks
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous quantum decision-making systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with MIT/Stanford on quantum-AI curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Proven track record of leading quantum-AI projects with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Experience securing government/industry grants >$5M
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and NISQ limitations
- Published work on quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
- Fluency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing optimization
