Responsibilities
- Screen and interview candidates for temporary and contract positions across healthcare, administrative, and light industrial sectors
- Coordinate onboarding processes including background checks and credential verification
- Build and maintain relationships with local business clients to understand staffing needs
- Manage candidate pipeline through ATS systems and ensure timely placement updates
- Conduct market research to identify emerging talent pools in Virginia Beach
- Facilitate weekly check-ins with placed candidates to ensure job satisfaction
- Collaborate with full-time recruiters to fill high-priority assignments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in staffing, recruitment, or customer service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Workday)
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach labor market preferred
- Flexible availability including occasional evening/weekend staffing events
