Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Sourcing: Actively source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for various temporary and permanent positions.
- Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand their staffing needs and provide top-tier talent solutions.
- Onboarding: Guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition and compliance with company policies.
- Database Management: Update and maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS) with the highest level of accuracy.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in verifying hours worked and ensuring accurate payroll processing for all temporary staff.
- Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices and candidate documentation adhere to local and federal labor laws.
- Shift Coordination: Coordinate schedules and shift assignments to ensure 24/7 coverage for client operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Tools: Proficiency in using recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Location: Must reside within the New York metropolitan area.
