As a Night Shift Coordinator, you will be the face of our operations during the critical evening hours, managing the full lifecycle of temporary and direct-hire placements. Responsibilities
- Manage the Night Shift Pipeline: Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for critical 3rd shift roles in logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare.
- Client Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for client hiring managers during evening hours to understand staffing needs and provide timely updates on candidate availability.
- Onboarding & Placement: Facilitate the orientation process, conduct background checks, and ensure all compliance paperwork is processed efficiently for night shift workers.
- Shift Management: Monitor staff schedules and workflow to ensure adequate coverage during peak evening periods and resolve scheduling conflicts immediately.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to optimize future recruitment efforts.
- Performance Monitoring: Provide feedback to temporary employees regarding performance and address any issues that arise during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources, preferably within a staffing agency environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work a rotating Night Shift schedule (typically 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM or 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse candidates and clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure, especially during high-volume times.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field is a plus.
