Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, traffic patterns, and system health during critical off-peak hours.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network outages, latency issues, and security breaches.
- Configure, maintain, and update firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure optimal security.
- Manage VPN tunnels and remote access solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform routine patch management and firmware updates during low-traffic windows.
- Document network architecture changes, runbooks, and incident reports thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, system administration, or IT support.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Experience working in a night shift, rotating shift, or 24/7 operations environment is highly preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or Network+.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
