Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot server infrastructure, databases, and network connectivity during the night shift.
- Respond to and resolve critical IT support tickets that arise outside of standard business hours.
- Perform routine system maintenance, security patching, and backups to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments during low-traffic periods.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain accurate logs of all technical interventions and system performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or Network Administration.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote/contract setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, Linux, and Active Directory environments.
- Must be willing and able to work Night Shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
