Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for Windows/macOS systems, network infrastructure, and specialized government applications during overnight hours
- Monitor and troubleshoot VPN connections, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity protocols
- Execute system patches, updates, and security hardening procedures during maintenance windows
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures in ticketing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Conduct user training for specialized government software and security protocols
- Manage hardware/software inventory and asset lifecycle documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise-level IT support experience with overnight shift background
- CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Active Directory, SCCM, and enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks and NIST guidelines
- Strong diagnostic skills for hardware/software issues in virtualized environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance (CI or higher preferred)
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting and procedure documentation
- Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently during off-hours
