Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, network systems, and cloud services during overnight hours
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and security incidents
- Execute system patches, updates, and security protocols during low-traffic periods
- Document incident reports, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handovers and continuity
- Perform proactive system health checks and optimization tasks
- Respond to after-hours alerts with SLA-driven urgency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise IT support experience with night shift preference
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote monitoring tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site hardware maintenance
