- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging trends and competitive threats
- Design strategic roadmaps for commercializing breakthrough technologies by 2026
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubation program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruptive innovation models
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech and venture capital ecosystems
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
