Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) to develop strategic adoption roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions in AR/VR and decentralized systems
- Partner with R&D to evaluate feasibility of breakthrough technologies (nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Develop competitive advantage frameworks through patent strategy and open-source innovation
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology portfolio planning
- Champion ethical technology adoption frameworks for responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or biotech convergence
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA with specialization in technology management
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or peer-reviewed research in emerging technologies
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and global tech ecosystem partnerships
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
