Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology foresight strategy for emerging innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams to incubate and prototype next-gen solutions with industry-altering potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech leaders
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Create executive-level roadmaps and investment recommendations for technology portfolio expansion
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, thought leadership forums, and talent development programs
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic trends to anticipate technology adoption barriers and opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, EU, Asia tech hubs)
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from concept to market leadership
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from Wharton, MIT)
