Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual budgets
- Partner with C-suite to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present technology vision to investors, board members, and industry leaders
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- 10+ years in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record in developing multi-generational technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Exceptional strategic thinking with systems-level problem-solving abilities
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ continents
