Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other data communications systems.
- Configure, install, patch, and maintain server hardware and software, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce security protocols and disaster recovery plans to protect sensitive data.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
