We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running on Saturdays and Sundays to ensure our systems remain robust and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software code specifically for the weekend operational window.
- Perform rigorous code reviews, debugging, and optimization of legacy systems during off-hours.
- Execute automated deployment pipelines and monitor system health metrics over the weekend.
- Respond to critical incidents and perform emergency maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- Document technical changes and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday engineering team to align on upcoming sprint goals and technical debt reduction.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development or systems engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C# and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively during unscheduled hours.
- Deep understanding of database management and API integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system stability.
