Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexability problems.
- Execute on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, header structures, and internal linking improvements.
- Develop and implement keyword research strategies to target high-value search terms relevant to our clients' industries.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4, providing weekly reporting on traffic and rankings.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website architecture and CMS updates.
- Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand and communicate technical requirements effectively.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as a contractor.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to Denver, Colorado.
