In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software releases by executing test plans and identifying bugs during our weekend deployment cycles.
Responsibilities
- Execute Test Plans: Perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications to ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Bug Reporting: Log and track defects accurately in JIRA, providing clear screenshots and steps to reproduce.
- Regression Testing: Verify that recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing features.
- Weekend Coverage: Work Saturday and Sunday shifts to support release cycles without impacting weekday operations.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the development team to discuss bugs and facilitate timely resolutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed test logs and reports for client review.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, Selenium, or similar testing tools is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot edge cases and usability issues.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to New York, NY.
