In this contract position, you will be the critical link between our technical infrastructure and our clients. You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage helpdesk tickets, and ensure our systems remain secure and operational during off-hours. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for on-site and remote staff.
- Manage Helpdesk Tickets using Jira or ServiceNow, ensuring all issues are resolved within SLA guidelines.
- Perform System Maintenance including software updates, patch management, and hardware repairs during the weekend window.
- Monitor Network Security and respond to alerts to prevent downtime or data breaches.
- On-Call Rotation availability for critical system emergencies outside of standard working hours.
- Document Resolutions in the knowledge base to improve future support efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, Helpdesk, or Systems Administration.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365 Suite.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a contract basis.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software conflicts.
