Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for on-site and remote staff.
  • Manage Helpdesk Tickets using Jira or ServiceNow, ensuring all issues are resolved within SLA guidelines.
  • Perform System Maintenance including software updates, patch management, and hardware repairs during the weekend window.
  • Monitor Network Security and respond to alerts to prevent downtime or data breaches.
  • On-Call Rotation availability for critical system emergencies outside of standard working hours.
  • Document Resolutions in the knowledge base to improve future support efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, Helpdesk, or Systems Administration.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365 Suite.
  • Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a contract basis.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software conflicts.
