Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Manage User Accounts: Handle account creation, password resets, and permission adjustments within Active Directory.
- Device Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of new and existing workstations.
- Help Desk Support: Provide exceptional technical support via phone and ticketing systems to a diverse user base.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to company security protocols and assist in the deployment of security patches.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred.
- Certification: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
