Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend operations.
- Manage and resolve incoming help desk tickets and service requests efficiently within SLA guidelines.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor server health and network security protocols to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team to escalate complex issues and provide handovers.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of workstations for new weekend staff members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical interventions and incidents.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk operations.
- Must be available to work alternating weekends (e.g., Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
