About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who excels in a self-directed setting. As a Weekend Specialist, you will act as the first line of defense for our enterprise clients, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum security during the weekend maintenance window.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot server, network, and application infrastructure during weekend shifts.
- Manage and resolve escalated Level 3 technical support tickets within strict SLA guidelines.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patch management, and security updates for internal systems.
- Collaborate with the support team during the Monday morning transition to ensure seamless handovers.
- Document technical procedures, incident reports, and resolution logs accurately in the ticketing system.
- Ensure data integrity and verify backup systems are functioning correctly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Experience with remote access tools (VPN, RDP) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is highly preferred.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to technical support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
