Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology roadmap for AI/ML integration, quantum computing applications, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3+ year implementation horizons
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers for joint R&D initiatives
- Ensure compliance with emerging ethical frameworks and sustainability standards for future tech
- Mentor junior innovators in futures thinking methodologies and technology forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year forecasting success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong track record of scaling innovative projects from concept to market
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from foresight organizations) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful long-term technology strategy implementation
