Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments on our superconducting quantum processors to achieve quantum advantage
- Develop error-correction protocols to extend quantum coherence times
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit stability and gate fidelity
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at major quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
