Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026+ innovation framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead high-stakes strategic initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Partner with R&D to prototype and scale breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content at global forums (Davos, TED, etc.)
- Build and manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI
- Establish industry-wide partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in futures research tools (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (ACF preferred)
