Responsibilities
- Source and screen qualified candidates for diverse industry roles through targeted outreach and referrals
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both active job seekers and passive candidates
- Collaborate with client companies to understand hiring needs and position requirements
- Manage applicant tracking system data and ensure accurate candidate documentation
- Facilitate weekend interview scheduling and coordinate logistics for assessments
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract niche talent in Portland's competitive market
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably in staffing agencies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced weekend environment
- Deep understanding of Portland's job market and industry trends
- Creative sourcing techniques for passive talent engagement
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional candidate meetings
