As a Temporary QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring software quality and reliability. You will work closely with the development team to identify bugs, validate fixes, and ensure a seamless user experience. Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify defects and bugs in web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and test objectives.
- Document detailed bug reports and track issues using JIRA or similar tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software stability after updates.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
- Verify fixes and validate that changes meet acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and basic scripting (Python or JavaScript preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
