Responsibilities
- Source and engage qualified technical candidates across Chicago's tech ecosystem
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT, engineering, and data science roles
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers at Fortune 500 startups
- Utilize ATS platforms to track candidate pipelines and optimize recruitment metrics
- Conduct technical interviews and assess candidate skills/cultural fit
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive talent
- Collaborate with marketing team to enhance employer branding
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in Chicago market
- Proven expertise in sourcing IT professionals (Java, Python, DevOps, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago tech landscape and key employers
- Expertise in ATS systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize urgent hiring needs without compromising quality
- Certified Technical Recruiter (CTR) or SHRM-CP preferred
