Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Recruiting: Utilize various channels (social media, networking, job boards) to identify and engage potential candidates for open positions.
- Screens & Interviews: Conduct thorough phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Placement Management: Match qualified candidates with client companies and manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide top-tier staffing solutions.
- Payroll & Compliance: Ensure all candidate documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including W-4s and I-9s, to maintain full compliance.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about salary trends and market conditions in the San Diego region to offer competitive rates.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, persuasive tone.
- Dedication: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates and deadlines simultaneously.
- San Diego Knowledge: Familiarity with the San Diego job market and local industries (e.g., Tech, Medical, Logistics) is a plus.
- Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM software is highly desired.
