Responsibilities
- Conduct Candidate Screening: Interview, assess skills, and screen applicants to match them with open positions in the Virginia Beach area.
- Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide updates on candidate progress.
- Job Order Management: Create and manage job postings on various platforms to attract qualified applicants.
- Onboarding Support: Assist new hires with paperwork, orientation, and equipment setup to ensure a smooth transition.
- Database Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Market Analysis: Research salary trends and labor market conditions to ensure competitive offers.
- Administrative Support: Process timesheets, manage payroll inquiries, and handle general office administration.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Human Resources or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or sales is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new HR software.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for client visits.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
