Responsibilities
- Source and engage passive candidates across GitHub, LinkedIn, and niche tech communities using Boolean search strategies
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical roles including software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps specialists
- Conduct technical screenings and behavioral interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through weekly business reviews and pipeline updates
- Collaborate with marketing team to create compelling job descriptions and employer branding content
- Leverage our proprietary ATS to track metrics and optimize recruitment funnels for 30% faster placements
- Mentor junior recruiters on market trends and negotiation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years technical recruiting experience with focus on engineering or data roles
- Proven track record placing candidates at Boston-area startups and Fortune 500 tech companies
- Expert knowledge of Boston's tech talent market and competitive landscape
- Advanced proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday)
- Strong understanding of technical stacks (Python, Java, AWS, ML frameworks) and hiring processes
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) or SHRM-CP preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to close 15+ placements quarterly in competitive environments
