Responsibilities
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Direct and motivate diverse teams of engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and executives, providing clear, concise updates on project health and risks.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team capacity and manage budgets effectively to ensure project profitability.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential blockers early and implement proactive strategies to keep projects on track.
- Agile Methodologies: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within the IT or Tech sector.
- Certification: PMP, CAPM, or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to San Antonio, TX.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams through change and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
