Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop innovation roadmaps and implement strategic initiatives to capture first-mover advantages
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $1M+ annual R&D budget
- Partner with product teams to integrate futurist insights into product roadmaps
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech experience
- Proven track record of launching game-changing products/services based on trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to translate complex insights into executive narratives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or MBA with innovation focus
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier business publications
