Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with measurable ROI tracking
- Mentor junior futurists and build our future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record in translating foresight into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and trend analysis
- Strong network with global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Experience with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Presentation skills for executive audiences and international conferences
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (required portfolio)
