Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product managers to define feature requirements and user stories.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to ensure 99.99% uptime and minimal latency.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and performance testing to ensure code quality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Implement security best practices to protect data integrity and prevent vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in a contract or permanent capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, with experience in Spring or Django frameworks.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
