Responsibilities
- Design and prototype high-fidelity 2D user interfaces, motion graphics, and interactive assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and specifications to communicate design concepts effectively to development teams.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement 2D animations and transitions using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, or SVG.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a culture of continuous learning and creative excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in the 2D interaction space.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D interaction design, graphic design, or animation.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop), and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of motion design principles, timing, and easing.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to non-technical stakeholders.
- A portfolio demonstrating a strong command of 2D aesthetics, micro-interactions, and visual hierarchy.
