Responsibilities
- Conduct Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networking) to identify and engage qualified candidates for open positions.
- Screening & Interviewing: Perform initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific staffing needs and provide tailored candidate recommendations.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Onboarding Coordination: Facilitate the onboarding process for temporary and contract placements to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about local labor market trends in New Orleans to advise clients on salary benchmarks and talent availability.
- Administrative Support: Assist with job postings, background checks, and employment verification processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources preferred; entry-level candidates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, persuasive tone.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software and ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) is a plus.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates and deadlines simultaneously.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends, to meet client and candidate needs.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the New Orleans job market and business landscape is highly valued.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
