Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks, pallets, and merchandise using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld scanners and WMS systems.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare, pack, and label packages for shipment according to company safety and quality standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; ensure aisles and storage zones are clear of debris.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required (certification provided upon hiring).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work nights (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) for the duration of the temporary assignment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions without assistance.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide valid identification (Driver's License or Social Security Card).
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential for success.
- Forklift: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
