Responsibilities
- Design and Maintain Data Pipelines: Build robust ETL processes to ingest and transform data streams efficiently during the night cycle.
- Database Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and speed during low-traffic periods.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers and analysts to deliver insights derived from overnight data processing.
- Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Proactively identify and resolve system anomalies to minimize downtime for our clients.
- Implement Security Protocols: Ensure all data handling complies with strict security standards and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Contract Experience: Proven track record of successfully delivering contract projects on time.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
