Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to create strategic 2026 roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning hardware, software, and biotechnology
- Develop patentable innovations in sustainable tech and human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in R&D with 3+ years in strategic planning
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and system architecture modeling
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
