Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neural interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for next-gen research
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation protocols for autonomous systems
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 commercialization
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
- Analyze emerging geopolitical and socioeconomic trends to inform future-proof strategies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Emerging Technology with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: quantum, synthetic biology, AGI safety protocols
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate innovation funding >$10M
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals on technology forecasting
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks and trend analysis tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Gartner)
