Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, and networking to identify and attract top talent for open positions.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Placement Support: Assist candidates with resume writing, interview preparation, and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition into new roles.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends and salary benchmarks in the Virginia Beach market.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior recruiting or sales experience is necessary. We value raw potential and work ethic over past experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak clearly to diverse audiences.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new software platforms.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if necessary.
