Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive innovations and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D, product, and business strategy on future tech priorities
- Analyze emerging trends (AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech) to inform strategic investments
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and evaluate breakthrough startups and technologies
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build relationships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design frameworks for ethical technology deployment and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of mapping long-term tech trends (2020-2025 experience essential)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, journals, keynotes)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
