Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging innovations (AI, quantum computing, bio-tech)
- Design and execute pilot programs for futuristic business models and customer experiences
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption vectors
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching successful future-oriented initiatives
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level audiences
- Strong network within tech innovation hubs (Silicon Valley, Boston, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend analysis or strategic frameworks
