Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain horizon scanning systems for early-stage innovation signals
- Design strategic roadmaps for future product ecosystems and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and scenario planning documents
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational foresight culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment
- Strong proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with C-suite stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
