Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials from receiving docks to storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing inventory stock.
- Packing & Labeling: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels are correct and items are secure.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance record and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
