Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and optimal storage.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and perform physical inventory audits.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with freight carriers and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage strategies to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
