Responsibilities
- Analyze Supply Chain Data: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and identify trends to optimize stock distribution across Kentucky and the surrounding regions.
- Process Optimization: Streamline logistics workflows to reduce costs and improve delivery times while maintaining high service standards.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of inbound and outbound freight.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed performance reports using SQL and Excel to present actionable insights to senior management.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all supply chain operations adhere to local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
- Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot supply chain disruptions and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics planning, or operations management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into strategic business decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to cross-functional teams.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Louisville, KY.
